Paul Colman Trio's music caught the attention of the marketing team at top-rated talk show Dr. Phil. The band's hit tune "Turn" has
been chosen to promote the Texan talker's sophomore season. But the daily television spots aren't the only exposure the band has been
lately. With the recent release of their second disc, One, they've been turning up all over the place including on the set of The 700 Club
and at a recent concert date with 80s pop icon Rick Springfield. In addition to their own headlining tour, the band did a 40-minute
opening set for fellow Aussie Springfield on Sept. 10 in Virginia. Look for the Dr. Phil spots to continue airing through this week to
promote his new weight loss challenge.

Hey there people. I thought I would write and tell you all about the progress on this record that we are working on. I know you think that we are out with our friends, jetsetting around the world to all the hot spots in London, Spain, LA, New York and Sioux Falls, but its just not the case. NO NO. We are tucked away in our Chicago winter wonderland of a studio, churning out the hits. My head aches from all the creativity that goes on.
Pete, Joe and I are everyday working to keep perspective and remember what we love in and about music. We have about 6 songs together now. We want to leave people with something when they finish listening to a song. Convey some sort of a feeling, whether it be remorse or satisfaction. I guess everyone wants something out of their art. And me...I just want to dance!! I want to feel the soul burn off my shoes as I slide across the floor in my wingtips. I'm half kidding, I dont wear wingtips.
So as we put this record together, we are trying to decide where to record all the parts. We will probably do all the drums in Chicago and then head out to Vegas to do all the overdubs. We thought it would be cool to do a roadtrip from Chicago to Vegas so we can drive recklessly on the strip and through the desert. The fastest I have ever been on pavement is 131 mph, and I am pretty sure that I can beat that if I have the right road. Its my nerves though, they keep getting in the way. (Don't try this at home kids.) So when we are in Vegas you should all come to the Luxor and hang out. Maybe we will have a party at Elvis' house. He said we could.
So one last thing. I have to say that Andre 3000's acceptance speech on the Grammys was absolutely the coolest. He said "thank you". And I agree. So thanks to all of you for your continued support. Stay tuned. Good night Steve Dave.

I trust you all had the happiest of holidays. we greatly appreciated the break, but are looking forward to exciting things this year.

Music - The 1-sided LP on burnt toast vinyl should finally be out this spring, a possible EP could follow, and the next full length by let's say....fallish.

Computer Music - in addition to ordering our records from affordable online dist (jadetree.com parasol.com insound.com etc...) we are terribly excited to say that our music will be available from the ITUNES music store and other legal download sites. taking our music all the way into the year 2000.

Tours - We'll back on the road starting in Feb, and be out a good part of the spring and early summer, making stops at Noise Pop, SXSW, and Macrock. We'll be jammig some new songs and have a few suprises.
'04 should finally be the year to give the passport a workout, and travel over many seas and many moons to play for our friends in Europe and hopefully Asia.
-stay tuned for tour dates-

again many thanks to everyone for showing interest in what we do, we'll be even more interesting this year - swear, dude.
