Juliana Theory-
NEW ALBUM COMPLETE (well...just about!)

The band is hard at work in LA finishing off the mixes of its new album. Here's the latest studio diary entry from the band. Mixing is going great. There are only a few songs left to go and then we are finished. Today, we are working on a track that I am pretty certain everyone will dig. I'm excited about this record for many reasons. One thing that I'm excited about is that this thing does not really sound like much else. I think we have managed, more than ever before, to create our own sound. This record really sounds like The Juliana Theory. Sonically, this recording is unique too. It does not sound like our other records and it doesn't really sound like anything else that is out right now. This might be for the fact that it is basically a bass guitar solo from start to finish. Chad gets my vote as one of the best bassists in our "scene." For certain, he is the most underrated bassist I can think of. Everyone else's tracks are the tops as well. Chip's drum fills are creative. The "Twins" wrote their best stuff ever on guitar too. Lyrically, I already told you all that I'm positive this is my best output in that department. And to top it all off, this record is actually exciting. We've finally captured raw, live, band performances. I guess the fourth time is a charm. This is probably the record we were supposed to make a few years ago. Sometimes things just take a while. http://www.thejulianatheory.com
