Album Review

This cd came in the mail last week, and i had a chance to listen to it while taking a road trip.
Since then it has rarely left my cd player. It is a very cool mix of piano, synth, acoustic guitar,
and some of the best vocals ever heard on a rock cd. I know, sounds weird; but trust me, it
works.  The instruments are all very well played, the piano work in particular is great. and the
drumming....first rate. Having said all that, the lyrics, on first read could come from any rock cd.
Until you really read them; as a whole. they paint a very vivid picture of someone who is just as
human as you and me. Someone who struggles with the same things we do, and one who
often cries out to God to help him get through those struggles. Very refreshing, like several
other cd's reviewed here lately, it is more "music written by a christian" than "christian music",
which is cool by me. This cd makes my list of must have cd's this year.
